Matthew 18:18-19

And You told me, That if any two of us shall agree on earth [Note: One can be you while the other can be the Holy Ghost (1 John 5:8; 3:24)] concerning anything that we ask, it will be done for us by our Father in heaven.

Mark 11:23-24

Jesus, because I say to the mountainous thing that is blocking my path, “Get out of my way, and be thrown into the deepest sea”; and am not doubting it in my heart, but have believed what I said will come to pass; it will be done for me. Deut 28:1-2 [Blessings on Obedience]

And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:” (NKJV)

Deut 30:19-20
Today I ask heaven and earth to be witnesses. I am offering you life or death, blessings or curses. Now, choose life! Then you and your children may live. To choose life is to love the Lord your God, obey him, and stay close to him. He is your life, and he will let you live many years in the land, the land he promised to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. (NCV)

Josh 21:45
He kept every promise he had made to the Israelites; each one came true. (NCV)

1Kings 8:56
Blessed be the Lord, Who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. Not one word has failed of all His good promise which He promised through Moses His servant. (AMP)

Ps 89:34
I will not break my agreement nor change what I have said. (NCV)

Ps 105:37
Then He brought Israel out with silver and gold. And there was not one weak person among their families. (NLV)

Ps 89:34
I will not break my agreement nor change what I have said. (NCV)

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (NKJV)

Is 41:10, 13
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ (NKJV)

Is 43:25-26

I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins. Put Me in remembrance; let us contend together; state your case, that you may be acquitted. (NKJV)

Hos 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children. (AMP)

Nah 1:7
The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. (NLT)

Matt 21:21
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. (NKJV)

John 9:31

Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. (NKJV)

Rom 4:19-21
And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. (NKJV)

Rom 8:11

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. (NKJV)

[Note: The secret to receive God’s healing and health for our physical mortal body does not necessarily have to be sought outside us, but it is within us. This scripture assures a believer that God’s heavenly physical healing and health is supplied through the Spirit of God who dwells within our spirit man. He takes the life of God [Zoe - God’s life] which has no sickness or disease and infuses it in to us. This rejuvenates and will restore the vitality of our physical body. Praise the Lord!]
2 Cor 1:20
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. (NKJV)

2 Cor 10:3-5
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. (NKJV)

[Note : Satan many a times brings fear in to the mind of believer’s and will always try to make them worried, which is the reason and root cause for many of the present days diseases and sicknesses. It all starts with the mind thinking negative about ourselves, our circumstances and about others. God’s word is hundred percentage positive and full of hope for us and our situations. When the believer learns to wage spiritual warfare against Satan and his demons in his daily life by pulling down strongholds of negative thoughts and casting down negative arguments that come out of one’s mouth from the heart which will sap out their spiritual energy and will strengthen the negativistic attitude of their mind and also casting down every high and prideful thing that God hates which will exalt itself against the knowledge of God. This will make the believer to trust in God’s promises and not get bogged down by his negative surroundings or circumstances. This will not only make the believer to maintain God given good health, but also receive healing from God through His word.]

Eph 6:10-17 [The Whole Armor of God]
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles [the strategies and the deceits] of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. (NKJV)

Heb 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (NKJV)

Heb 10:25
Let us not stay away from church meetings. Some people are doing this all the time. Comfort each other as you see the day of His return coming near. (NLV)

[Note: The wisdom of God will give you ability to take the right decisions when you are faced with adverse circumstances in life due to sicknesses, diseases and ill health.]

James 3:17

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. (NKJV)

1 Peter 5:7-9

Give all your worries to him, because he cares about you. Control yourselves and be careful! The devil, your enemy, goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to eat. Refuse to give in to him, by standing strong in your faith. You know that your Christian family all over the world is having the same kinds of suffering. (NCV)

1 John 3:22

And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. (NKJV)

Healing and Restoration leads you to fulfillment!

Posted by apostolicrevelation on March 13, 2008

Healing and Restoration leads you to fulfillment and freedom in Christ!
By Abraham Israel

1. Jesus restores our soul because He is our good shepherd (Ps 23:1, 3; John 10:14). A shepherd is the one who leads, guides, teaches, provides, binds up the wounds, comforts and protects the one who is following him. It is in his nature to even go after the lost and misguided sheep’s. All these are part of the restorative nature of a shepherd. To restore means to make something return to its former optimal level or condition. Because of the fallen state of this planet earth and Satan’s increased activity of stealing, killing and destroying the good things of God, we need daily restoration for our soul. As a faithful shepherd Jesus restores our soul as we seek Him daily. When Jesus restores our soul by leading us beside still waters, our soul will returns to its stillness even as we start appropriating His peace in our soul (Isaiah 26:3;Psalm 23:2; Phil 4:6-7).

2. Always salvation is accompanied by a supernatural joy and we need to live perpetually in it, thus indicating our citizenship in the kingdom (Rom 14:17). When you lose your joy of salvation due to your fleshly indulgence [sinful inclination of your soul], immediately repent and ask the Lord to restore your joy of salvation, He will do it (Ps 51:12). We need to live daily with a heart attitude of repentance [i.e. turning towards God to receive His mercies and to receive His overcoming power to shun from all our weaknesses and failings in the future].

3. You need to forgive your friends who have hurt, wounded, and have betrayed you at the time you needed them the most, if you do not forgive them, this is when a strong spirit of unforgiveness can creep in to you against these people whom you have trusted in the past. Because of unforgiveness you would have given an open door entry to Satan and his demons who will easily get in to you and will rightfully control you. Our Heavenly Father will also be angry and will take his hand of protection until you will realize your foolishness and revert back to forgive them (Eph 4:26-27; Matt 18:33-35). Those to whom you will not forgive their debts [i.e. their unfaithfulness, betrayal and back stabbing] will become your debtors. These debtors should be first forgiven before you enter in to the Heavenly Father’s presence to ask for the restoration of your soul by the cleansing blood of Jesus. Why should you forgive your debtors [i.e. people who have knowingly wronged and betrayed us]? Because God in Christ has once for all forgiven your past, present and future sins (Eph 4:32). You may ask, If God has already forgiven all my sins, why I need to go again to Him for forgiveness? The answer is you do not go to get a literal forgiveness but more of a cleansing for protection from all demons by being covered by the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:3-7). This is the restorative part of your salvation which is your inheritance in Christ Jesus. So only Jesus taught the disciples to pray in this pattern to Our Father in Heaven, “…And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” (Matt 6:12). We need to live daily with a heart of forgiveness. When you live your life by choosing to forgive you debtors unconditionally daily because of seeing what God has done for you in Christ, then the Lord will restore to you double of what you have lost during your crisis (Job 42:10). When you forgive these people their follies, then the Lord will bless your latter days more than your beginning [i.e. before you encountered these false accusations, betrayal….etc from others who have knowingly or unknowingly wronged you] (Job 42:12).

4. When you are glad and rejoice in the Lord, the Lord will restore to you the y
ears that you have lost without being fruitful (Joel 2:23, 25). Because of His tangible blessings over your life, you will be satisfied and will praise the name of the Lord your God (Joel 2:26). So, rejoice in the Lord always, pray continuously and in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (2 Thess 5:16-18). We should choose to rejoice daily in the Lord. To rejoice in the Lord means ‘to again release the joy which is already is in your spirit man inside you’. God has kept the spirit man in perfect connection with the Lord who is the Spirit now (1 Cor 6:17; 2 Cor 3:17). Thus you have the choice to release that joy in your soul by commanding your soul to bless the Lord and praise the Lord at all times (Ps 50: 23; 103:1-2; 145:1-2; 146:1-2; 147:1). In other words you can choose to be joyful at all times irrespective of the circumstances that you are in or going through (Acts 16:22-25). When you command your soul to align with your spirit by praising and blessing the Lord, then you will experience the joy and goodness of the Lord in your soul (Ps 63:2-5; 147:1; 149:5-6; 150:6; 104:33; 105:3).

5. When God restores you from your trespasses or sinful habits in to that higher realm of victory through your spiritual walk in the power of the Spirit, you then help others who are going though such bondages by witnessing gently to them what God has done and is doing in your life. God will bless you more for doing it and will restore abundance in your life as you restore others back in to a meaningful relationship with God (Gal 5:16; 6:1, 9-10). Never be deceived in to thinking that you are immune from any sin without His grace (Gal 6:3)! Rather you who are spiritual restore the weak in a spirit of gentleness daily by using the grace of God present in your life. This will not only bring healing and fulfillment in your life, but also in the other person’s life which has been overtaken by trespasses.Praise the Lord!

Posted by apostolicrevelation on January 25, 2008

Word–Study [Healing and Deliverance]

The first word of study will come from the Greek text in the New Testament. The word chosen to study will be that all important one called Salvation. The word salvation has a multi- fold meaning. It is probably the most important word for the Christian except the names of Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit and the Heavenly Father.

In the New Testament there are different words in Greek that are translated into different words in English for the word salvation. Here are the words that I have found in my studies:English word Salvation is from Greek words Soterion or Soteria. English word Saved is from Greek word Diasozo or Sozo or Phulasso. English word Save is from Greek word Sozo. The meanings of the above words consist of Deliverance, Preservation, Safety, Healing/Soundness. The meaning of the word is applied to the scripture depending on the context or subject of the scripture.

(b) of the spiritual and eternal deliverance granted immediately by God to those who accept His conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus, in whom alone it is to be obtained, Acts_4:12, and upon confession of Him as Lord, Rom_10:10; for this purpose the gospel is the saving instrument, Rom_1:16; Eph_1:13 (see further under SAVE); (c) of the present experience of God’s power to deliver from the bondage of sin, e.g., Php_2:12, where the special, though not the entire, reference is to the maintenance of peace and harmony; 1_Pet_1:9; this present experience on the part of believers is virtually equivalent to sanctification; for this purpose, God is able to make them wise, 2_Tim_3:15; they are not to neglect it, Heb_2:3; (d) of the future deliverance of believers at the Parousia of Christ for His saints, a salvation which is the object of their confident hope, e.g., Rom_13:11; 1_Thess_5:8, and 1_Thess_5:9, where “salvation” is assured to them, as being deliverance from the wrath of God destined to be executed upon the ungodly at the end of this age (see 1_Thess_1:10); 2_Thess_2:13; Heb_1:14; Heb_9:28; 1_Pet_1:5; 2_Pet_3:15; (e) of the deliverance of the nation of Israel at the second advent of Christ at the time of “the epiphany (or shining forth) of His Parousia” (2_Thess_2:8); Luke_1:71; Rev_12:10; (f) inclusively, to sum up all the blessings bestowed by God on men in Christ through the Holy Spirit, e.g., 2_Cor_6:2; Heb_5:9; 1_Pet_1:9,10; Jude_1:3; (g) occasionally, as standing virtually for the Savior, e.g., Luke_19:9; cp. John_4:22 (see SAVIOR); (h) in ascriptions of praise to God, Rev_7:10, and as that which it is His prerogative to bestow, Rev_19:1 (RV).

soteria in other topics

A2. Salvation [Noun]
soterion the neuter of the adjective (see
soterios), is used as a noun in Luke_2:30; Luke_3:6, in each of which it virtually stands for the Savior, as in A1(g); in Acts_28:28, as in A1(b); in Eph_6:17, where the hope of “salvation” [see A1(d)] is metaphorically described as “a helmet.”

1. Recover
sozo “to save,” is sometimes used of “healing” or “restoration to health,” the latter in

ananepho “to return to soberness,” as from a state of delirium or drunkenness (ana, “back,” or “again,” nepho, “to be sober, to be wary”), is used in
2_Tim_2:26, “may recover themselves” (RV marg., “return to soberness,” AV marg., “awake”), said of those who, opposing the truth through accepting perversions of it, fall into the snare of the Devil, becoming intoxicated with error; for these “recovery” is possible only by “repentance unto the knowledge of the truth.” For a translation of the verse see zogreo_under_CAPTIVE.
Notes: (1) For “recovering of sight,” Luke_4:18, see SIGHT. (2) In Mark_16:18, the phrase echo kalos, lit., “to have well,” i.e., “to be well,” is rendered “they shall recover.”

Salvation – This word is used of the deliverance of the Israelites from the Egyptians
(Ex_14:13), and of deliverance generally from evil or danger. In the New Testament it is specially used with reference to the great deliverance from the guilt and the pollution of sin wrought out by Jesus Christ, “the great salvation” (Heb_2:3). (See REDEMPTION, REGENERATION.)

SOZO So what does the word SOZO mean? The Greek word SOZO was translated in the New Testament as the English word Saved, but it doesn’t mean Salvation, known as the Greek word Soteria. SOZO simply defined means rescued, pulled from danger, or lifted above trouble. It was used in Ephesians 2:8 in the phrase, “By Grace are you saved”. It was also used in James 1:21 in reference to the Engrafted Word being able to save our souls.

Salvation comes from the Greek word SOZO. Meaning redemption, its definition includes salvation, healing, and deliverance. SOZO describes God’s awesome plan to change our lives inside and out, and includes transforming the spirit, soul, and body.

The Healing Church

Posted by apostolicrevelation on January 25, 2008

The Healing Church
By Abraham Israel

The Church of Jesus Christ is a healing church because He has already provided healing and health for every member of it through the atonement on the cross. The atonement provides protection of the spirit, soul and body through the Blood that was shed and the healing of the spirit, soul and body through the Body that was broken [stripes] for us on the cross of Calvary (1 Thess 5:23-24).

First and foremost of all, the most important truth for the sick person to get healed is that, He must believe that it is God’s will for Him to be healed. The church as a whole needs to understand that sickness is an oppression of the devil. As the word of God clearly points out in Acts 10:38, “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him”. As we see in this preceding verse Jesus went about doing good and healing because sickness is an evil oppression of the devil by which Satan steals, kills and destroys the life of people. If sickness is the will of God for some people, Jesus would have healed some and would have said to others that they should persevere with the sickness in faith so that God will be pleased with their life. Only a religious deceiving spirit will make people think like this. This is deceitful pride. Instead, the good news is Jesus healed all those who came to Him and all who still come to him in faith.

Sickness is a curse because in God’s original plan for this planet earth, there was no sickness in the Garden of Eden. Sickness is absolutely due to the curse that came upon mankind because of one man’s disobedience to God’s decree (Rom 5:12, 18-19). But Jesus came to rescue all mankind from death and restore all that was lost through the fall of man and the curses that came upon every human being as a result of it (Galatians 3:13).

Jesus said, “I am the life” (John 14:6) and also He said, “…I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” When we have this life of Jesus in us by believing what He has done for us on the cross, it will repel the urge to sin and will give us the power to say no to sin and to the consequences of it which is sickness. Sin is the root cause of sickness in our life. Sickness and life don’t go together. Even the natural life that is in our body repels all kind of sickness and that is what we call it as immunity. Our body was not designed to be a “temple of sickness and devils”, but to be “the temple of the living God” (2 Cor 6:16).

Jesus came only for this purpose that is “to destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). So only Jesus healed all that came to get healing and in several scriptures Jesus rebuked the sicknesses and healed the oppressed (Matthew 8:16-17; Luke 4:38, 39).Why should Jesus rebuke the sickness if it is a inanimate thing and not a person that is the cause behind it? Jesus rebuked the winds and the sea when He knew that Satan was behind it to kill all of them in the sea (John 10:10; Matthew 8:23-27). It is the same with the sickness that people experience that eventually makes them die slowly. This clearly points to the devil and his evil co-workers as the root cause of all sickness.

It is God’s will to be healthy and prosperous in all areas of our life (3 John 2). Hence the one and only hope for mankind to receive all these God’s blessings is through Jesus Christ who was sent by God for this purpose of saving all mankind from Satan’s evil oppressive curses (John 3:17). For this reason He came to this planet earth and died for the whole human race to be blessed by God. The removal of disease is included in Christ’s redemptive work, along with the removal of sins (Isaiah 53:4; Matt 8:16-17). Here the word ‘bore’ means substitution and not sympathy. In that way He took our weaknesses and was substituted for our sickness [curses]. What makes the fact that He achieved for us to be manifested in our life is the faith that we have in Him and His substitutionary work.
Salvation and healing are for every one who believes. So faith in the heart plays an important role for those who pray for the sick and also for the one who receives the healing from God. As believers in Jesus Christ, Jesus has given us the power to cast out devils and heal diseases (Luke 9:1-2). And Jesus said in Mark 16:15-18, “15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who [what?] believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they [here the Bible does not say ‘they may recover’ but] will recover.”

This is the promise that is given to every believer. So we need to keep our eyes on the promises of Jesus and should lay hands on the sick believing Jesus will heal them. Then in the succeeding verses in Mark 16:19-20 the Bible says, “19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.” Here we see how Jesus faithfully confirmed the word of His promise to these people who took Jesus at His word and did what he told them to do. Jesus did not leave them alone, but He worked with them confirming what He had promised to them. We also will see the Lord working with us and confirm the same promise through the accompanying signs, if we believe Him now and preach the healing Gospel every where expecting the same thing to happen now. It will happen because Jesus is still on the throne sitting at the right hand of the Father.

So preaching the gospel in obedience to His command is very important for us to see healings and signs to take place when we minister the word. God expects us to do this in obedience to His command. It is not an option to consider but a command to all of us personally because we are believers.
The word of God is the personification of Jesus Christ (John 5:39, 46-47; Luke 24:27, 32). Hence we need to preach Jesus who is in its pages (John 1:1; Acts 8:1, 4-8, 35). As the Bible says, “He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.” (Ps 107:20). God delivers people from sickness, disease, sin and death only through the word of God. Once people receive His word, healing and deliverance will follow. So speak the word! The word will deliver you and those who hear you speak, because the Bible says it is a double edged sword and will separate the spirit and soulish thoughts and will help you to receive the Word of God from the throne room of Heaven in your spirit (2 Tim 4:2; 1 Tim 4:16; Heb 4:12).
So God Himself expects both the message of forgiveness and healing to be preached in Jesus Name. So preaching only forgiveness of sins with out God’s power to heal is to make the word powerless by unbelief. So only even the disciples of Jesus prayed to God, “29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness” (Acts 4:29-31).

And also in the above verse we can see that only the genuine touch of God’s hand can heal somebody who needs healing. In the Bible God’s hand always represents the power and manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Only when we are constantly in communion with the Holy Spirit by being filled with the Holy Spirit again and again like the apostles, then only we can bring this healing power of God in to the natural physical realm. He [the Holy Spirit] will make us speak in the Name of Jesus and will speak through us to bring deliverance to the multitudes (Acts 1:16; Luke 1:70; Mark 13:11; Acts 13:9-12). Speaking the word of God by being filled with the Spirit will only bring true healing and deliverance to the multitudes.
When we obey His Great commission (Matt 28:16-20) and step out to preach the full Gospel [not just the half] and proclaim His word [i.e. the message of forgiveness and healing] then it is God’s responsibility to confirm His word through sign accompanying it and He is faithful and will surely confirm His word. This Healing manifestation of God’s power is for all [i.e. irrespective of whether someone is a believer or an unbeliever] through the proclamation of the preaching of God’s word or in other words Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Then a question may arise, what about the believers in the church? Is it for them too? We must understand that it is God’s nature to heal that gives us healing not our goodness or our faith only. It is not about the methods that we use but about the God whose very Name is the Healer. God says about Himself in His Word, “…For I am the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26). The Word of God says and asks the question “Is any one among you sick (James 5:13)? Among whom if we ask ourselves, he is speaking to the church and the Believers.
“14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your trespasses [Therefore confess your sins] to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” (James 5:14-16). So in the church if a believer is sick, the first thing the believer must do is to call for the elders of the church and request him to anoint him with oil and pray against the sickness in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The oil is used as a tangible symbolic substance to indicate the releasing of the power of the Holy Spirit by faith in the broken body of Jesus that brings the healing power in manifestation and the Lord will raise him up. And also with the healing, [only] if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven. What a wonderful package Jesus has given to us to receive through His atonement on the cross and through the church. This is the reason the church is essentially a healing church! Hallelujah!

Some people say this verse speaks for sickness that comes as the result of sin only. So they reason out that the promise is for sicknesses that come as the result of sin and not for every other sickness. But the word says, [only] …if he had committed sins”. This tells us that with the healing, forgiveness of sins is only an option, if it is the result of sins.
It conveys the idea that no matter what is the reason for sickness, God promises to raise them [the sick persons] up if only the church will believe His healing power and will move in faith towards its manifestation. It is the wonderful privilege of the church to receive healing from the Lord who has promised His church that He will heal and raise people from their sickness no matter what reason it has come.
And the elders who pray for the sick must pray the prayer of faith. If it is done by the church in obedience to His word the Lord will once again manifest His power as usual in His church. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! God has given healing for every believer as a package with the forgiveness of sins. The church needs faith to flow in the healing power of the Lord! Are you ready for it! Amen!

Take them to Jesus!

Do people need healing? Take them to Jesus with faith!
By Abraham Israel

Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralytic

(Matt. 9:2-8; Mark 2:1-12)

17 Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them. 18 Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him. 19 And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus.
20 When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”
21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts? 23 Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’? 24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”–He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”
25 Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. 26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today!”
(Luke 5:17-26).

1) When a person comes to receive healing from Jesus, the first thing that Jesus sees in them is, ‘whether they have faith in Him that He can heal their diseases and solve their problems’.

2) Only when the healing power of the Lord is present in a place, people can really get healed even while teaching the Word of God.

3) When you teach the Word of God, expect the power of the Lord to be present in that place to heal people.

4) Seek after the sick, the lost and the hurting people, with faith in your heart that Jesus will meet their needs. He sees your heart of faith and will be pleased to meet their needs. This is the place where you will be blessed [with your faith which is in itself is a reward from God] to become a blessing to others.

5) Their faith was, ‘Only if we could take this sick man to Jesus’, He will surely heal. Be steadfast in your pursuit to reach Jesus even when all you could see before you is only obstacles, your faith will be rewarded and you will be healed!

6) It is as easy for Jesus to heal a sick person, as it is to forgive their sins.

7) As the only begotten Son of God, Jesus has the absolute right to forgive sins as God Himself forgives (John 5:18).

8) Jesus is always excited when He sees people reaching out to Him with faith in their heart.

9) The ultimate reason for the demonstration of the power of God is to make people believe that Jesus is the Savior of all mankind and is their God (Isaiah 45:15).

10) Every healing that happens by the power of God shows that Jesus is God and has the power to forgive sins.

11) When Jesus sees faith in the heart of any person expectantly reaching out to Him He speaks an active rhema [the word that proceeds out of the mouth of God in the present time] to the situation or sickness and the miracle happens.

Speak the Word! Healing will Follow!

Posted by apostolicrevelation on January 25, 2008

Speak the Word of God! Healing will Follow!
By Abraham Israel

“So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret….” (Luke 5:1).

1) When we speak the pure word of God, multitudes will press in to the place where we are present to hear it. Why? Because the word of God carries the power of God and will meet every ones need.

15 However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities. 16 So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed (Luke 5:15-16).

2) When we speak the word of God and demonstrate it by the power of God, then the report will go around in all the region concerning us like wild fire and people will come in great multitudes to hear and see the result of it manifested in their life.

3) Always people will come not only to hear the word of God, but also to see healing happen and get healed from their infirmities and sicknesses. We need to expect healing to accompany with the proclamation of the word of God (Mark 16:20).

4) When healings and miracles happen by the power of God, multitudes will come to hear the message and to receive healing and be healed. The message of the gospel is in itself is a healing message to the body, soul and the spirit of every human being.

5) The more the need of people, the more we need to withdraw ourselves alone to pray to God for the power of the Lord to be present to heal people and need to depend on Him to supply all their needs. When the power of the Lord is present, He will work through us to heal them (John 5:17, 19-20; Luke 4:40-41, 39; 5:17; 6:19-20).

6) The amount and time of prayer that we pray shows that we depend on God who makes things happen for us. The amount and the time of our prayer is directly proportional to the dependence we have on God. In other words the more we depend on God, the more we will pray to Him. The more we pray to Him, greater will be the result and the power of God manifested.

Jesus Casts Out an Unclean Spirit

(Mark 1:21-28)

31 Then He went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbaths. 32 And they were astonished at His teaching, for His word was with authority. 33 Now in the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon. And he cried out with a loud voice, 34 saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are–the Holy One of God!”
35 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him in their midst, it came out of him and did not hurt him. 36 Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.” 37 And the report about Him went out into every place in the surrounding region (Luke 4:31-37).

1) When we teach the word of God with much prayer, our word will be with authority from heaven.

2) In such an atmosphere where the authority of God is in absolute control over the place, all the unclean demons which is illegally occupying that place in rebellion will cry out of fear that it will be dislodged from its place.

3) All the sons of God will be recognized by the demons along with the Son of God because their very purpose of existence is to destroy the works of the evil one. They are those who exercise the authority of God by their dependence on Him (Acts 19:15; 1 John 3:8, 9; Acts 10:38; James 2:19).

4) When people see the demonstration of the power of the word of God, the report will go in to every place of that region with out any advertisement on our part.

5) The unclean spirits should be commanded with a word [rhema word] of authority and power, and then they will come out immediately. To do this we need to grow in the knowledge of God, who is the Greater one (1 John 4:4).

6) When the word of God is taught with authority and power, if the demons manifest’s itself to distract the people out of fear of being dislodged and losing its territory, immediately with the same power and authority it should be rebuked to be quiet and come out of that tormented person.

7) Teaching the people with the word of God will destroy unbelief and will impart faith in to them (Rom 10:17; Heb 4:2). In that teaching atmosphere of faith, healing and deliverance will naturally happen when we have prepared ourselves with much prayer (John 8:32).

Seek the Healer

Posted by apostolicrevelation on January 25, 2008

Seek the Healer! He will hear You! He will heal you!
By Abraham Israel

Hezekiah’s Life Extended

20In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.’”

2 Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying, 3 “Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

4 And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 5 “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord. 6 And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.”‘”
7 Then Isaiah said, “Take a lump of figs.” So they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered (2 Kings 20:1-7).

God is the Healer and Jesus is His Name!

1) There may be moments in your life when you are sick and may be near death, in those moments of desperation, don’t start fretting, fuming and whining in doubt and anger, but seek the Lord in prayer and tell him how you have always trusted Him to deliver you.

2) Don’t store up your emotions, but freely express it to the Lord in prayer.

3) The king Hezekiah knew that only the Lord has the ability to deliver him from His sickness and eventually death. When the word of the Lord came through the prophet he did not accept it as fate passively, but he turned his face toward the wall where no one can reply him but only the Lord. He did not seek after any man to deliver Him not even the prophet, but the Lord. It is the active faith that He had in God’s healing power that gave him healing from God.

4) Sickness and death are the result of man’s fallen condition that brought this curse upon us (Gen 3:16-19; Rom 6:23). The result of sin is the deterioration of the body of which one of the causes is sickness. But God is able to deliver us from both (Ps 68:20).

5) David always believed and lived by this truth, so God was pleased by his life of faith in his healing, delivering and defending power and always referred to him as one of His reasons to heal others. He lived by faith in the provision of God’s atonement that He will make for appeasing Himself and His wrath for the wrong things that David had done (Psalm 65:3; 79:8, 9). David always trusted in the mercies of the Lord and the Lord had special pleasure in David especially because of it (Psalm 147:11; 106:44-45; 41:4, 3, 10; 59:10; 71:17).

6) When Hezekiah spoke and prayed to the Lord about his walk with the Lord in truth and his loyal heart and the goodness he had done in his past life, the Lord reminded him that not because of his goodness that he will heal but because of his mercies that he will do it. Here God was saying for My own sake and My servant David’s sake because He is the God of mercy and David was the man who perfectly believed in the mercies of the Lord (Micah 7:18; Ps 52:8; 59:10; 145:9).

7) Believe in the mercies of the Lord to receive healing for yourself and for others, depend on His merciful character not on your own righteous deeds when you ask God to heal you.

8) When God speaks to a person to believe Him in faith for healing, doesn’t mean that those who take medicine do not have faith (1 Tim 5:23), but it is a rhema [a word from the Lord for a particular situation and to a particular person] word from God. It can be used only for that particular person at that particular time.

9) Do not make a doctrine out of a rhema word spoken to a particular person. But God may act in the same way or differ in His way of working; it is up to Him to decide. You can take that rhema word as an example or a case study to increase your faith in God and to know more about His faithfulness to His word and His character.

10) God uses the natural means in a natural way to bring forth His supernatural result which he has spoken.
Ex: Figs were used in a medicinal way as usual over the boils in this case, but the recovery was immediate because of God’s supernatural intervention.

11) It is more important to believe in the word of the Lord and obey what He has told us to do, than to process and understand it fully to know how He is going to work.

12) When God says “I will”, you can be absolutely sure that He will do what He has said. He will do it in His way and in His time. But you should be faithful and loyal to Him and should continue to walk in truth and do what is good in His sight. This is the only way you can repay God for His goodness.

Just Receive your Healing

Posted by apostolicrevelation on January 25, 2008

Just Receive your Healing
By Abraham Israel

I believe God has already provided all the healings that we ever need for our body by “His word”.

“He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20).

When His word is received and mixed with faith, the result of it is healing and deliverance. With out the faith ingredient being mixed with the word, the word will not profit us
(Heb 4:2). Here we can see that God is speaking about our healing in the past tense. So it is not a provision problem that we have, but it is a revelation problem. Revelation is something that we experientially learn by believing and doing a particular thing that God has told us to do. According to God He sees us as perfect being in Christ Jesus. It is up to each one of us to appropriate what God has already provided in the Spiritual realm through Jesus Christ. “His word” in this verse speaks about the Divine person [the Logos – the eternal Word].

In the book of Isaiah God speaks about this same divine person of God [i.e. Jesus Christ] as, “Surely [with out doubt] He [i.e. Jesus Christ] has borne [paid the cost for] our sicknesses and carried our pains…By His stripes we are Healed” (Isaiah 53:4, 5). From the above verse we can understand that Jesus has already not only paid the cost for our redemption but also has taken upon Himself the pains that we should experience ourselves.

Sickness is nothing but the state of being ill or a particular illness, suffering from a disease or not feeling well. Death is the end of the life of a person in this planet earth. These two are very related. Sickness is a curse upon mankind that was caused by man’s disobedience to God. The result of sin is sickness. For if by the one man’s offense [trespass] death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ (Rom 5 :17). To reign means to rule or be a king or queen. Since God has positioned us in our spirit to be able to receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, it is up to us to choose to reign in life by fighting the fight of faith.

So God has already given us the power to rule over sin, sickness and death. And this power becomes operational and active only by faith. Faith is a substance or in another translation says “Faith gives substance”. When you live by faith, this active power of God which is full of life will flow in to your body day in and day out to keep you in good health.

Faith is a spirit which means, we have a spirit that can receive faith when it comes [Faith comes when we hear God speak to us in our spirit man (Rom 10:17)] and we mix it with the word of God [and hold it patiently in our mind with expectancy toward God] to see and experience the resultant power of God in our life. And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak, knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you (2 Cor 4:13-14).

We see in the above verse that when we believe the word of God we will speak it out. And this will cause the power of God to manifest in one’s life. God who sees our faith will raise us from our sicknesses, just as He raised Jesus from the death through His Spirit. He will raise us up with Jesus which means with what He has done for Jesus He will do for us too through His Spirit who lives with in our spirit man. And this healing and health is ours in Jesus Christ and God expects us to use this privilege by our faith in the finished work of Jesus [i.e. healing stripes (1 Peter 2:24)] which He had achieved for us to reign in this life as kings and queens along with Him.

As we begin to store the good things of the word of God in our heart by confessing God’s word, the word gets engrafted as a part of our being, as a result God’s life will flow in to us and our whole body will be energized by the power of God. Words are carriers of faith! Healing is a fact as far as God is concerned.

The word of God says,
“A wholesome tongue [healing tongue] is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.” (Prov 15:4).The wholesome tongue or healing tongue is the one which speaks the word of God and will always speak good and positive things. This will not only yield its fruit of healing and health in its season, but as we keep on doing it faithfully as God’s ambassadors, it will bring health to others who hear it. “…A faithful ambassador brings health” (Prov 13:17). And the word ‘perverse’ means obstinately ‘doing something different from what is reasonable or required’. So it is normal to speak good and positive things. And God expects us to do it faithfully. In other words it is required. Satan will try his best not to let you speak good and positive things in your life. For example if some one says to you that they are sick, ask them how are they now doing and say to them that they will soon get well because it is God’s will for every one to stay healthy! Then pray to God for them to get healed! I promise you they will! We must keep on speaking good, positive, wholesome healing words in faith, to ourselves and others by our trust [conviction based on the word of God] in God, God will make sure that we will be blessed with good health. Not only this will strengthen your body, but it will also strengthen your spirit man and both will become strong.

Unbelief in the mind will not get in to the heart [spirit man] if it does not pass through the mouth (Joshua 6:10, 16; Num 13:30, 32)!

The Bible says,
“The spirit of man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit?” (Prov 18:14). The answer is only God can bear a broken spirit and will draw near to that particular sick man as he begins drawing near to God by asking the help of God because of hopelessness (James 4:8), then He will always infuse faith to that sick person by pointing to His word (Ps 51:17; Isaiah 66:2). Because of this reason that man will get strong in the spirit and it will sustain him in sickness.

To sustain is to support, keep alive, keep going continuously, undergo, endure, and uphold the validity of. A strong spirit man will sustain us and keep us alive even if sickness attacks us; above all God is faithful to fulfill His word. So as we trust Him more and more, by confessing to ourselves and others “My God is my sustainer”. God will make sure to heal us and He will! Hallelujah!

God’s word has creative power. By confessing God’s word, we are fellowshipping with God and it will increase our faith. God’s word not only builds our spirit man and sustains our body; it will become sweet to our soul bringing in the joy and the gladness of God from heaven. ”Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones” (Prov 16:24). David also says and confesses that by saying, “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Ps 119:103). There is a taste in our spirit man and soul which only God’s word can satisfy.

When we keep on speaking and confessing God’s word, we will develop a taste for it. Then not only to the mouth of the spirit man inside us will it become sweet, but to our soul [mind, will and emotion] also it will become very sweet. And it will become health to our bones. Bones because bone produces marrow and marrow produces blood and more the blood and the purer it is, it will bring health and immunity against all sicknesses and diseases. This shows and proves that our spirit, soul and body will be in perfect health, if only we trust his word and speak His word always.

The Greatest Commandment

1 “Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the LORD your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, 2 that you may fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. 3 Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you—‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! 5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. 6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates (Deuteronomy 6:1-6).

When we teach the word of God and continually talk of it in our homes and in our offices, there is a threefold blessing that accompanies our observance of these things,

(i) Because of Good Health we will prolong our days.

(ii) All will be well [wellness in our family, offices, finances and with our community life] with us in every area of our life.

(iii) Our things [material, financial and Spiritual things] will not just be added but multiplied greatly because of God’s blessing over our life.

Immunity to ward of all virus and bacteria will become a part of our body system. It cannot overcome us because “He who is in us [the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 6:19)] is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). The Word is Life. This is the abundant life that Jesus spoke about! I Praise Jesus!

Health and Healing is in the Atonement!

Posted by apostolicrevelation on January 25, 2008

Health and Healing is in the Atonement
By Abraham Israel

S.No : 1

The Blood of Jesus Christ: The Blood gives us protection from soulish diseases [i.e. particular evil habits, bondages and wrong thinking patterns] and good health to our emotion, mind and our decision making ability which is the soulish realm of every human being, and thus because of its [i.e. our souls] close connection to our body it eventually gives health to our bodies too (1 Peter 2:24; Exodus 12:7, 12-13).

The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : The broken Body of Jesus Christ provides healing to our deteriorating body directly (Exodus 12:8, 11; Ps 105:37; Matthew 8:16-17; John 6:57-58).

S.No : 2

The Blood of Jesus Christ: The Blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins (1 Cor 11:25; John 6:53-56).
The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : The Body was broken for our healing (1 Cor 11:24; 1 Peter 2:24).

S.No : 3

The Blood of Jesus Christ: In the Blood is the life of the person (Lev 17:14).
The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : The Body contains or supports the life which is in it to prolong it in this earth (Gen 9:5, 6; Heb 10:5, 7; John 19:33, 34).

S.No : 4
The Blood of Jesus Christ: The Blood should be applied over (1 John 1:7, 9).
The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : The Body should be eaten roasted in the fire of the Spirit (Exodus 12:9).

S.No : 5
The Blood of Jesus Christ: The Blood hits the root of all curses [the sin factor] (Rom 5:12).

The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : The Body deals with the effects of the curses [the sickness factor] (Rom 6:23; 2 Kings 5:25-27).

S.No : 6
The Blood of Jesus Christ: The Blood of Jesus has made atonement for our soul (Leviticus 17:11).

The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : The Body of Jesus had made atonement for our Body (2 Chronicles 30:18-20).

S.No : 7

The Blood of Jesus Christ: Drink the Blood of Jesus Christ as often as you can by releasing your faith tangibly and thus proclaiming [announce it officially and publicly] the Lord’s death for your soul till He comes (1 Corinthians 11:26).

The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : Eat the Body of Jesus Christ as often as you can by releasing your faith tangibly and thus proclaiming [announce it officially and publicly] the Lord’s death for your body till He comes (1 Corinthians 11:26).

S.No : 8

The Blood of Jesus Christ: The glory of His presence is felt in the soul because of the atonement of His Blood (Jude 1:24; Lev 23:27-32; Isaiah 53:10; Ps 26:8; 65:3; 79:9).

The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : The power of His healing presence is experienced and felt in your body because of the atonement of His Body (Acts 1:8; 2 Thess 1:9; Job 1:12; John 7:39; Rom 8:30). From the glory of His power, He can supply His power with out the glory of His presence for the accomplishment of a particular task through any one (1 Chronicles 29:11; Ps 63:2).

S.No : 9
The Blood of Jesus Christ: The origin of sin is from our heart (Mark 7:14-23; Isaiah 26:9).

The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : The origin of sickness starts from our body (1 Tim 5:23). This is the reason Apostle Paul who was concerned about his apostolic son Timothy’s careless attitude towards taking medicines and keeping his body fit. In other words Paul said to Timothy, ‘take medicine to keep your body in good health.’

The Blood of Jesus Christ : The soul is influenced inside out (Matt 15:17-20; Prov 4:23; Matt 6:21). The Blood of Jesus protects you from this demonic soulish influence.

The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : The Body is influenced from the outside in [i.e. from the environment] (Ps 91:10). The Healing power of the broken Body of Jesus Christ gives you protection from these plagues and diseases.

The Blood of Jesus Christ : Sin is the destroyer of the soul (1 Peter 2:11; James 1:14, 15).

The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : Sickness is the destroyer of the body (Isaiah 38:1; Phil 2:27, 30).

The Blood of Jesus Christ : God’s ways are know to us only by experiencing the glory of His presence in our soul (Exod 33:13, 14; Ps 103:7; 105:43; 1 Peter 1:8-10).
The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : God’s acts are known to us through the power of His presence experienced in our body [tangibly by our five senses] (Ps 103:7; 105:37; Deut 6:21, 22; Ps 105:26-27).

The Blood of Jesus Christ : Only God has the power to kill the soul and the body in hell (Matt 10:28).

The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : Satan has only power to kill the body using people as his instrument (Matt 10:28).

The Blood of Jesus Christ: The soul needs restoration of joy when it is pressured and distressed and it is restored only through faith in the atoning Blood of Jesus Christ (Ps 23:3; 65:3; 51:12-13; 86:4; 41:4; 147:3).

The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : The body needs restoration of health when it is sick and diseased, so that it can continue to live and not see death and it is restored only through faith in the broken Body of Jesus Christ (Ps 41:3, 8; Mal 4:2; Matthew 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24).

The Blood of Jesus Christ : With out experiencing the glory of God through the Blood of Jesus, no one can enter heaven (John 3:5; 17:22-23; Rom 8:17).
The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : With out experiencing the power of God we can enter heaven (Acts 1:8). But with out the power you will fail to be a powerful witness to the world.

S.No : 16
The Blood of Jesus Christ : The Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses our soul from all sins (Heb 9:14; 1 John 1:9).

The Body [the stripes of Jesus Christ] : The Body of Jesus Christ Heals us from all sicknesses and diseases (I Peter 2:24; Ps 103:3).

Some Christians in the 1st Century who did not understand about the healing power that is released by faith in the broken body of Jesus Christ during the communion were sick and some even died in the Church prematurely. They did not discern [recognize] the Lord’s body and because of this lack of discernment, many were sick and many died physically (1 Cor 11:27-33). Due to lack of discernment, they did not have proper respect and reverence for the communion and were partaking the communion more as a ritual with strife and contention. They were not waiting for others to join in the communion and were taking the bread more as a meal to be eaten (1 Cor 11:33, 34). This type of attitude in itself is sinful, hence Apostle Paul was exhorting the believers to examine themselves according to the standard of the word of God so that after knowing fully the significance and meaning of the communion, the believers will be able to eat this bread and drink this cup of the Lord to receive its benefits.

Here Paul is not asking the believers to sympathize for the Lord, rather he is telling them to understand its significance [“… remembrance of Me” (1 Cor 11:24-25)] and then partake of it. Because of the lack of discernment and judgment in the lives of believers, they were having sickness and death as a chastening by the Lord so that the believers will not be condemned with the World in the future (1 Cor 11:31-32). Hence it proves that sickness and premature death is not only a curse, but also a type of chastening that can be avoided, when we have discernment and self judgment through the communion of the Lord’s body and blood.

The glory and the power of God are not the same but come from the same source (Ps 63:2; 145:11). The glory is the character person of God Himself and the ways with which He acts (Job 26:14), but the power is the strength that He uses to accomplish things (Eccl 8:4). Just like you are filled with the power of God [i.e. Gifts of the Spirit (1 Cor 12:4-11)], you can be filled with the glory of God [i.e. fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23)] too (Micah 3:8; Ps 71:8; 2 Chronicles 5:14).

His Word Carries Healing Power!

Posted by apostolicrevelation on January 24, 2008

Do you need Healing? His Word carries Healing Power, Meditate on it and you will receive it!
By Abraham Israel

‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts (Zechariah 4:6).

1 Assurance of the Resurrection in this life itself

1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, 3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. 4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord (2 Cor 5:1-8)
.

2 Security of Health in His Words

20 My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
21
Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22
For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22)
.

1) The word of God is a healing word.

3 Bitter Waters Made Sweet-Promise of health and healing

22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea; then they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water. 23 Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah [bitterness of water represents sickness and curses]. 24 And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” 25 So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet [sweetness of water represents health and healing].
There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them,
26
and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”
27
Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters (Exod 15:22-27).

1) You cannot find true water for your thirst in the wilderness except through God’s divine favor. Wilderness is the place where beasts will live and control the area and will destroy human beings if they have no weapons to protect themselves
(Matt 4:1, 11; Mark 1:13). Even when you reach Marah, the waters will be bitter only.

2) The Bitter waters of Marah are the natural state of this fallen world of sin which the people of God cannot drink because it is bitter.

When we experience such thirst and find only bitter water, God expects us to cry out to Him to find help as His dear children (Psalm 50:15).

The tree that God showed to Moses symbolically represents the cross of Jesus Christ which has been thrown in to the waters of bitterness which is the fallen world of sin, sickness and death, to heal it and sustain life of health and prosperity. The only solution for all the problems in this world of wilderness is to seek the cross of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:24). So only Jesus said “If any one thirsts, let him come to Me and drink….” (John 7:37-39). The only thing that we need to do is to believe what He has done for us and drink the water, and we will experience the sweet water of healing which is the Spirit of God who will bring healing, health and prosperity in to the lives of every one whom He leads. Even today whoever seeks for healing, the Lord will show to them the tree through which they can receive healing by casting or throwing it in to the bitter waters of sin, sickness and the curses of this world that are afflicting them. So that they can receive healing through it.

3) God will give health, healing and blessing to those who naturally have no other way but to experience sickness, diseases and curses in this fallen world, if they will only diligently heed the voice of God and do what is right in His sight.

4) When God says ‘I will put none of the disease which I have brought on the Egyptians’, it first shows that diseases are the result of sin and eventually from the curse that is upon Humanity because of the fall of man and his inclination to sin and his sinful lifestyle. These curses of diseases are a type of Judgment for their Godless life style. Secondly it shows that God is in control over the physical realm of man.

5) When God says ‘…For I am the Lord who heals you.”, in other words God is saying ‘My nature itself is to heal you’.

6) God gives abundance when we walk according to His guidance. The Good waters that they drank at Elim made them healthy and strong (Exod 15:27). The word ELIM means the rams; the strong; stags, which shows that it is God’s will for us to stay healthy and strong like rams for His glory. His will for us is to be led by the side of still waters where we will stay healthy (Ps 23:2).

4 The Spirit gives life to your mortal [physical] bodies

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you (Rom 8:11).

1) God will quicken [renew] your mortal [earthly] bodies to bring the life of God in to it, as He infused the life of Jesus in to the dead mortal body of Jesus Christ out Lord [resurrection], He will do in your life too because He lives in every believer.

2) God will bring this healing life into us through the life and activity of His Spirit that lives in us. The only requirement we need to do to receive this benefit of healing is to live by being led by His Holy Spirit.

13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God (Rom 8:13-14).

3) When we are led by the Spirit of God, God will help us to cast out all the evil power of satanic sin and sickness which lead to death, by the Spirit of God (Mark 16:17, 18; Acts 10:38).

4) It is our responsibility to put to death the deeds of the body which leads to death. It is a decision that we take to counter satanic oppression of sin, sickness and death. When we take that decision, God will help us to defeat the satanic power by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will help us by making us use the Name of Jesus.

5) When we break the sinful habits of bondages that lead to the deterioration of health and eventually death, you will live the life of God in this planet earth itself by the Spirit of God.

5 A Gentile Shows Her Faith

(Mark 7:24-30)
21 Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22
And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”
23
But He answered her not a word.
And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”
24
But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
25
Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”
26
But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread [healing and deliverance from demonic oppression] and throw it to the little dogs.”
27
And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour (Matthew 15:21-28)
.

1) Healing for the spirit, soul and physical body is the rightful bread that is our’s in Christ Jesus.

2) Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ [the work of the cross] will bring healing to our physical body.

3) Persistence to receive healing from God is the key to receive healing from God.

4) Jesus was sent forth to those who are feeling lost in this world of sin and sickness.

5) To have faith is to believe that our Lord is ever merciful and compassionate in character and has the power to heal no matter what our circumstance are (Matthew 9:11-13; Psalm 103:8, 11).

6) Person of Great Faith will not be offended, when the answer does not come immediately as expected, but will persevere to experience the miracle working power of God (2 Cor 12:12).

7) When God says, ‘it is done’, believe it irrespective of time and distance which do not influence God because He lives outside of it. This is the faith that can be described as Great Faith. Great Faith will always have strong desire to see what God says fulfilled and will believe every word that comes out of the mouth of God as having the absolute power to fulfill what He says.

6 The Prayer of a Prophet

6 And God said to him [Abimelech] in a dream, “Yes, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart. For I also withheld you from sinning against Me; therefore I did not let you touch her. 7 Now therefore, restore the man’s wife; for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you shall live. But if you do not restore her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours.”
17 So Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants. Then they bore children; 18 for the Lord had closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife (Genesis 20:6-7; 17-18)
.

1) When a prophet of God prays for your healing as directed by the Lord, you will receive healing. Believe in the Lord and His prophets and you will prosper (2 Chronicles 20:20).

2) When you don’t have a child, always ask the Lord for this gift. It is He who gives it to every one (Psalm 127:3, 4).

3) The main function of a prophet and a prophetic church is to pray to God for others. They have been raised for this one main purpose. What a privilege!

7 Protection From God’s Judgment

12
‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. 13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb. 22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.
23 For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel [cross-piece at the top of the door] and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. 24 And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever (Exodus 12:12-13, 21-24)
.

1) When God judges the world with his judgment by sending plagues in it, we will be protected if we live by faith in blood of Jesus to protect us from every thing. To have faith in the blood of Jesus is to confess our sins to God when ever we have done wrong and the blood of Jesus will automatically cleanse and cover us. By doing this we are making an effort to strike the doorpost of our will with the blood of Jesus in the houses of our body which we live in representing the houses that the Israelites lived (1 John 1:7, 9). This gives us health and protection from plagues and diseases.

8 The Passover Instituted

(Num. 9:1-14; Deut. 16:1-8; Ezek. 45:21-25)
Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
2 “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. 4 And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man’s need you shall make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats. 6 Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight. 7 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. 8 Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. 9 Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire–its head with its legs and its entrails. 10 You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire. 11 And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover (Exodus 12:1-11)
.

1) Eating the flesh of the lamb is symbolic of eating [i.e. believing] the finished work of Jesus that which He achieved for us on the cross and live by it. Healing will follow when we do this, this is what had happened when the Israelites obeyed the commandment of the Lord when they came out of Egypt. All of them got strengthened in their physical body because of God’s healing power flowing in to their body by their faith in obeying the word of the Lord by eating the lambs flesh (Ps 105:37; John 6:48-58).

9 The Vision of Paradise and God’s Grace of Immunity against Evil

It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord: 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago–whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows–such a one was caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I know such a man–whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows– 4 how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 5 Of such a one I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities. 6 For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me.

The Thorn in the Flesh

7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong (2 Cor 12:1-10).

1) Paul’s thorn in the flesh was not a disease, but the messenger of Satan who was causing infirmities, reproaches, needs, persecutions and distresses.

2) Paul took pleasure in it [infirmities, reproaches, needs, persecutions and distresses] because all these Satanic buffeting [repeated attacks of merciless beating] caused the power of God to rest upon him to resist it and to act against that messenger of Satan [powerful demon] to defeat it, which made him a powerful Apostolic General in God’s army.

3) To keep Paul from falling in to the trap of satanic pride, because of the abundance of revelations from God and Him getting caught up in to the third heaven and hearing inexpressible words of heaven, this buffeting was given to Paul. That’s why this thorn in the flesh was a blessing in disguise which Paul understood later and started boasting in it.

4) When God allows such attacks, He will give His grace [empowerment] to handle it.

5) Here the Greek word used for ‘infirmity’ is astheneia lit., “want of strength” (a, negative, sthenos, “strength”), “weakness,” indicating inability to produce results, is most frequently translated “infirmity,” or “infirmities;” in Rom_8:26, the RV has “infirmity” (AV, “infirmities”); in 2_Cor_12:5,9,10, “weaknesses” and in 2_Cor_11:30, “weakness” (AV, “infirmities”); in Luke_13:11 the phrase “a spirit of infirmity” attributes her curvature directly to satanic agency. The connected phraseology is indicative of trained medical knowledge on the part of the writer.

skolops originally denoted “anything pointed,” e.g., “a stake;” in Hellenistic vernacular, “a thorn” (so the Sept., in Num_33:55; Ezek_28:24; Hosea_2:6), 2_Cor_12:7, of the Apostle’s “thorn in the flesh;” his language indicates that it was physical, painful, humiliating; it was also the effect of Divinely permitted Satanic opposition; the verbs rendered “that I should (not) be exalted overmuch” (RV) and “to buffet” are in the present tense, signifying recurrent action, indicating a constantly repeated attack. Lightfoot interprets it as “a stake driven through the flesh,” and Ramsay agrees with this. Most commentators adhere to the rendering “thorn.” Field says “there is no doubt that the Alexandrine use of skolops for thorn is here intended, and that the ordinary meaning of ’stake’ must be rejected.” What is stressed is not the metaphorical size, but the acuteness of the suffering and its effects. Attempts to connect this with the circumstances of Acts_14:19; Gal_4:13 are speculative.

10 Illness and Death of Asa

11 Note that the acts of Asa, first and last, are indeed written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel. 12 And in the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa became diseased in his feet, and his malady was severe; yet in his disease he did not seek the LORD, but the physicians. 13 So Asa rested with his fathers; he died in the forty-first year of his reign. 14 They buried him in his own tomb, which he had made for himself in the City of David; and they laid him in the bed which was filled with spices and various ingredients prepared in a mixture of ointments. They made a very great burning for him (2 Chronicles 16:12-13).

23 The rest of all the acts of Asa, all his might, all that he did, and the cities which he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? But in the time of his old age he was diseased in his feet. 24 So Asa rested with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the City of David his father. Then Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his place (1 Kings 15:23-24).

1) Even though we go to doctor’s to get treatment, yet we must know that it is God who gives healing to our body.

2) Doctor’s can only prescribe and give medicines, yet the body responds because of God’s mercy over it in sustaining life in it.

3) God expects us to look to Him [seek Him] if we get attacked by any kind of sickness or disease.

4) Because Asa did not believe that God is the one who is the Ultimate Healer, but in his disease sought after the physicians believing that they can heal his disease [in other words Asa did not like to repent to God because of the stubbornness of his heart], thus died because of his disease.

5) If God doesn’t help you, no body can in the critical moments of your life.

6) We must know and confess that the ultimate healer of the body is God, even though we may take medicine in the natural way as directed by the physicians (Luke 5:31).

7) Always acknowledge God’s merciful healing power and sustaining power, whether you get healed with medicine or with out medicine by the power of God and give thanks to Him for His gratefulness and mercies (Psalm 104:29; 150:6).

8) God gives grace [healing] to the humble, but resists the proud who thinks that he can be healed without God’s intervention. Acknowledge your sin and confess it, if you have done anything wrong and appropriate God’s forgiveness and healing power in your life. This will guarantee healing to take place in your body (James 4:6; 5:13-16).

11 The Promise and the Race of Faith

“39 And all these
[Old Testament saints], having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, 40 God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us. 1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author [originator] and finisher [perfecter] of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Heb 11:39-40 => 12:1-2).

1) Faith gives us a good testimony before God.

2) Living by faith does not mean that the promise of God will be seen immediately fulfilled. Some of them have not seen [received] the promise of God fulfilled fully in their life time. Such is the enormous size of the promise that they died in the natural before they could see in the natural realm. Yet by faith they believed and died in hope.

3) Something better that we have that has made us perfect is the indwelling Spirit of God for which the Old Testament saints waited for a few millenniums
[i.e. until the death of Jesus Christ on the cross] in sheol to receive it (Matt 11:11; John 7:39).

4) These great cloud of witnesses are a testimony to the faithfulness of God in fulfilling the promise for those who believed it.

5) Every weight that we allow to weigh on us from the world system of governance of the devil, will increase the sin of unbelief in us which so easily ensnares us and will make us end the race with out finishing it fully. So lay aside every weight and run with endurance.

6) To run with endurance means always looking to Jesus as our example and the object of our faith. Don’t have faith in your faith, because that is presumptuous faith that is self-conceited. The motivation for us to run the race should be the promise of God and the reward that is waiting for us. God is a rewarder.

12 The Promise of the Spirit

“… that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive [is] the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Galatians 3:14).

1) The blessing of Abraham is receiving the promise of the Spirit through faith.

2) Even though Abraham did not see the fulfillment of all the promise of God that He had spoken, but he received a tangible substance of the measure of faith that made him a blessed man when he was alive in this earth itself. That is why he is called as the father of faith.

3) He was the first man who believed to receive the Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ as the lamb of God who will come and get sacrificed for him and his generations
(Gen 22:8; John 8:56) .

4) The gospel was actually preached to Abraham and he believed and received it
(Galatians 3:8).

5) If we believe and receive the gospel like Abraham, we are blessed with [note: it does not say, ‘blessed like’, actually we become partners in inheriting the blessing of Abraham] believing Abraham.

6) Abraham was a supernatural Spirit filled joyful man because he was a ‘believing Abraham’. We too can today receive the same measure of the Spirit and joy of believing Abraham today by faith

(1 Peter 1:8; Galatians 3:5, 6, 14 =>[Galatians 3:8; 2 Peter 1:20-21]).
The Greek word
‘epaggelia’ means ‘the promise’ in the English language and it comes from the root word ‘epangelia’ primarily a law term, denoting “a summons” (epi, “upon,” angello, “to proclaim, announce”), also meant “an undertaking to do or give something, a promise.”

Except in Acts_23:21 it is used only of the “promises” of God. It frequently stands for the thing “promised,” and so signifies a gift graciously bestowed, not a pledge secured by negotiation; thus, in Gal_3:14, “the promise of the Spirit” denotes “the promised Spirit:” cp. Luke_24:49; Acts_2:33; Eph_1:13; so in Heb_9:15, “the promise of the eternal inheritance” is “the promised eternal inheritance.” On the other hand, in Acts_1:4, “the promise of the Father,” is the “promise” made by the Father.

In Gal_3:16, the plural

“promises” is used because the one “promise” to Abraham was variously repeated (Gen_12:1-3; Gen_13:14-17; Gen_15:18; Gen_17:1-14; Gen_22:15-18), and because it contained the germ of all subsequent “promises;” cp. Rom_9:4; Heb_6:12; Heb_7:6; Heb_8:6; Heb_11:17. Gal_3 is occupied with showing that the “promise” was conditional upon faith and not upon the fulfillment of the Law. The Law was later than, and inferior to, the “promise,” and did not annul it, Gal_3:21; cp. Gal_4:23,28. Again, in Eph_2:12, “the covenants of the promise” does not indicate different covenants, but a covenant often renewed, all centering in Christ as the “promised” Messiah-Redeemer, and comprising the blessings to be bestowed through Him.

In 2_Cor_1:20 the plural is used of every

“promise” made by God: cp. Heb_11:33; in Heb_7:6, of special “promises” mentioned. For other applications of the word, see e.g., Eph_6:2; 1_Tim_4:8; 2_Tim_1:1; Heb_4:1; 2_Pet_3:4,9; in 1_John_1:5 some mss. have this word, instead of angelia, “message.”

The occurrences of the word in relation to Christ and what centers in Him, may be arranged under the headings the contents of the “promise,” e.g., Acts_26:6; Rom_4:20; 1_John_2:25; the heirs, e.g., Rom_9:8; Rom_15:8; Gal_3:29; Heb_11:9; the conditions, e.g., Rom_4:13,14; Gal_3:14-22; Heb_10:36.

13 The Great Commission

”14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they [and in their hands they will ] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:14-18).

1) When we preach the Gospel, if we by faith lay hands on the sick in Jesus name, then the power of healing sign will begin to manifest and follow us.

2) It is as easy to heal people as it is to get saved because both the supernatural manifestation happens by believing.

3) Jesus expects us to preach the gospel with the power of the signs following us.

4) The signs of God’s power is to be manifested by us in all the world, where ever we are preaching the Gospel. Even in our daily life.

5) Only when we move around with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then signs can follow us. When we sit around doing nothing, signs cannot follow us. You can follow only a moving car, not a parked car in a garage.

6) When we believingly lay hands on the sick, they will recover [because Jesus will never fail].

7) The signs of God’s power will follow those who believe. It is not just for apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers only, but also for all believers. Are you a believer? If yes, then it is for you.

14 The Promise of Deliverance

“And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the LORD because of the oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them” (Isaiah 19:20).

1) When we cry to the Lord because of all the oppression of the devil [sickness, diseases, plagues, sinful bondages and death], the savior [the deliverer] of our spirit, soul and body [i.e. Jesus Christ] will come and deliver us from all those oppressions of the devil. It is His promise, He will do it.
